I think that Vincent Van Gogh was a very artistic artist and he did a very good job in showing us what he feels and his life in paintings. I am doing an Assingment on Vincent Van Gogh and i have learnt that he had a mental illness that not many people knew about. I learnt from him that a painting can be anything you want whether it be a blob of paint or a mountain of trees. Vincent is an inspiration and I think he will be the most talented and successful artist ever too walk this planet.

It was with much sadness that a man is overcome by his own demons. His life was sure a mixture of a battle of ones flesh. I'm sad for him and the state of mind that got him to the point of no return. :(

it looks like someone (anonymous on 6-15-08) is very jealous of Mr. Van Gogh even though he has been gone for many years. people like you are the reason he couldn't make it in this world. how nasty. Mr. Van Gogh was a true talent. his works of art are even more beautiful in person.

I am doing a biograpghy of Vincet and from all the letters I have seen that he is written that he was one of the nicest most heartwarming people you could meet. He was very talented I consider him simply a beautiful person. It is a shame he died like he did.
